Giving Tuesday is today

Update | Tuesday, December 3, 2019

After Black Friday and Cyber Monday, there’s a day to give back: Giving Tuesday. It’s a day to show our students that anyone can give back, whether they donate time, money, or items, there is no gift too small, and all gifts matter.

If you stop by a Giving Station on Giving Tuesday, (today, December 3),  please consider:

  • Donating a few items to the Mid-Ohio Market at Columbus State. They especially need diapers, feminine products, toilet paper, travel-sized toiletries of all kinds, toothpaste, and toothbrushes.
  • Donate any amount of money at the Giving Stations which will be run by our very own student clubs. They will receive 50 percent of the table's earnings. Therefore a $10 donation at a Giving Station run by the STEM Club will be split with the STEM Club and the Mid-Ohio Market.
  • If you don't have change or cash that day, anyone can make a donation at this website and watch other gifts come in throughout the day.

Giving stations will be open from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Nestor Hall (Stem Club)
Franklin Hall (Latin American Student Association)
Bookstore lobby (International Student Association)
Union Cafe (Student Paralegal Association)
Sips! (Black Student Union)

In collaboration with the Student Ambassadors, SEaL, Facilities Management, AVI, Massage Therapy, Marketing and Communications, College Recreation & Wellness, Career Services, the Bookstore, and many more, Giving Tuesday has become a special opportunity for our students to learn the power of philanthropy.  #GivingTuesday #Give2CSCC
